Nature science

Look closer at plants, weather, rocks, and living systems

Use visible details as evidence while keeping uncertainty clear when a species, microscopic process, or environmental cause cannot be confirmed from one photo.

Families, walkers, gardeners, and learners observing nature without disturbing it.

What this helps you do

  • Notice patterns before naming them
  • Connect structures to biological functions
  • Get a safe follow-up observation

A simple working method

  1. 01 Show context

Include the whole leaf, habitat, sky, or surrounding material as well as the detail that caught your eye.

  2. 02 Review alternatives

Check whether lighting, moisture, damage, or a similar-looking species could explain the image.

  3. 03 Leave it as found

Observe in place whenever possible and avoid handling unknown plants, fungi, or animals.

Use it with scientific judgment

Do not use image analysis to decide whether a plant, mushroom, animal, or substance is safe to touch or eat.
